Jon Palmieri was a man on a MISSION in the Inaugural National Premier Series Daytona 175. The Speed Visions sponsored Chevrolet Camaro starting shotgun on the field, but quickly moved through the pack and took charge. He led 34 of the 70 laps, even the ones between the two slowdowns on lap 15 (#53 engine expiration caused incident) and lap 64 (multi-car racing incident). He sits atop the standings while Kyle Riley, Ryan Nawrocki, Eric Kepf (Pole Winner) and Arnold Columbia rounded out the top five. Next week we’re onto the Monster Mile, Dover International Speedway. Can Palmieri get it done two weeks in a row?
